I was at a conference today and just before we went in ,a group of people were talking amongst themselves about how arrogant one of the main speakers for the event was and how they have known him for that, all these years. I have never met this person but on hearing this I made a mental note to look out for him and any air of "arrongance" he will exhibit. But to my dismay, they were wrong! I managed to pay special attention to him throughout the event and at some point some people in the audience where being rebellious by asking questions, contrary nor relevant,to the topic at hand. And what they didn't like was how , he set the record straight, no non sense style and highly professional. You won't stand a chance if you didn't know, or have your facts right. He was well learned and up to date about everything related to the issue and he heavily impacted on me,his depth of knowledge, charisma and decorum to be honest.
Which brings me to you today. Do not allow intimidation from half breads, unbaked, unproven others, who can't stand the heat of a brilliant person such as you, make you feel insecure. You know what you know and you have a right to be bold and confident about it. Do not apologise for your class, status, success, position and much more. Be you, people will get use to you, and if they don't they will leave your life out of self driven away jealousy. Remember you are in competition with yourself and no one else.Think about it.
