THE FUN IN HEALING
Congratulations!That you have chosen to let go and let healing replace your past.I want to support you with this.It is the best decision you could have made at this point in time in your life.Your life will and can never remain the same.
THE GOAL here is that,you remain positive and keep your motivation to live happily again, high.
1. Now that you are begining to come out of the dark periods, do not ignorantly think you are fully back to the state of being that you where that saw you down.You are still fragile. So at this point,you need to still aid your recovery with positive vibes.Listen to tapes,records that tells you of your strengths, that builds your self confidence,leave the dial on repeat let it be constantly to your hearing.Dance to music,sing along and enjoy it,pep talk yourself with positive innuendos like, "go girl/boy", "whow" "dig it babe" and laugh,roll on the floor,do this repeatedly,do not withhold your reactions,let the child in you rear its head.
2. Declutter your wardrobe,your room,do some new decorations, buy some new colorful add ons to your wardrobe.Take a bolder step,re do or change your hairstyle.do dress ups in front of the mirror,match various items together and you will be surprised what new themes and styles you will come up with.
3.Change the recording on your voicemail,delete all old messages,whilst recording a new one,play around,use various voices,come up with various new messages and finally settle for one that sounds vibrant,cheerful and alive and friendly and positive.
4.Answer your calls again,you may have stopped before,only this time,sound like you have just returned from the loveliest holiday ever and you are so glad to hear from the caller.
5.Tune up your social life again! Accept invites to dos,from friends, call up friends for trips to the cinema or window shopping in the malls.Better still,get some Dvds,for a stay in with friends and remember to add a cartoon or two to your collection.Laugh,joke and keep popping the pop corn.
5.Count you blessing at the end of each day, smile and recap on the fun you had.
