THE LESS PRIVILEGED, NEED YOU.WILL YOU ANSWER?
Many times, I have heard you and I express the desire to help change the world.We all want world peace. This is a beautiful desire, because,there is the chance for you and I to do just that.But I will get to it in a moment.
We can change the world en masse, that is if each of us, took one person at a time, helping to give them value, self worth and hope for tomorrow, it will then begin to happen.
You and I probably know who our parents are(I would hope so!) and we probably have roofs over our heads too. We probably have many choices and have aspirations and hope.
But the children in the orhphanages back in Nigeria,do not have this.They have been left in the most despicable places,on the trash can of life, some,still,in blood,with their umblical cords still wrapped around their fragile bodies,wondering when their 1ST BATH OF LIFE WILL BE,and their nudity covered,away from the glaring exposure,and the 100% chance of being eaten up by soildier ants.
They survived their 1st battle,as someone found them one,at a time taking them to the nearest orphanage and they are grateful to these persons. But there is still more,you and I know it takes more than being born to become all that you are called to be on the face of the earth.There is the need for love,education, affirmation,provision,home,healthcare and much more especially in the formative years of any child,this need is even greater in a child that has been abandoned.This is a Clarion call,the call to support the initiative of a very forward thinking woman, a woman of many virtues and successes,Ms Clarion Chukwura,who has single handedly been working with them and now gone to find them in their obsure places all over Nigeria,whom help,have not reached and yet is needed to sustain and carry on the good work they are doing with all these lovely Kids.
Her Initiative is called COLOURS OF INNOCENCE. She is here in the UK,on an awareness campaign and clamour for YOUR REGULAR SUPPORT of the Nigeria less Privileged care homes.
The launch is at the Planet Nollywood,319 Camberwell road,SE 25 0HQ,ON SATURDAY THE 28TH OF FEBUARY 2009 AT 6PM TILL 11PM.I AM ATTENDING AND WILL BE GIVING AN INSPIRATIONAL TALK IN SUPPORT OF THE CAUSE and its tittled" CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME". PLEASE JOIN US at this worthy cause. AND IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN CHOOSING A CARE HOME FROM THE LIST TO SUPPORT REGULARLY,
